Community Based (Non-Residential) Care Service Providers

The Care Bill seeks to transform the way that long-term care and support is provided and paid for, particularly through introduction of a cap on care costs for individuals from April 2016. One of Southwark Council’s early tasks is therefore to understand more about people who fund their own care and support without council input in the Borough.

This survey seeks to collect information on self funder numbers receiving services within Southwark’s boundaries. This information is important as the council needs to establish the numbers of people who fund their own support in order to effectively plan to meet the requirements of the Bill.
