Apply to rent a garage

Introduction

This form should be used to apply for a garage.

To apply, you will need:

• a current identity document (such as passport or full driving licence)
• proof of your current address (a recent utility bill or bank statement)
• your National Insurance number

Important: Council Tax bills or rent statements will not be accepted as proof of address.

If you live in Southwark and pay rent or service charge directly to Southwark Council, you will also need to submit your home rent account or service charge account number. If you are applying for the concessionary rate you will also need proof of your Blue Badge and v5 log book in your name.

Check if you're eligible for the concessionary rate.

If you pay Council Tax to Southwark Council and are the named person on the Council Tax bill, you’ll need your Council Tax account number.

If you already rent or have previously rented a Southwark Council garage, you will need to provide the garage rental account number/s.
