Apply to rent a garage

Introduction

This form should be used to apply for a garage.

To apply, you will need:

  • a current identity document (such as passport or full driving licence)
  • proof of your current address (such as a recent utility bill, bank statement, Council Tax bill from this year if you are the named person) - mobile phone bills will not be accepted
  • your National Insurance number
If you live in Southwark and pay rent or service charge directly to Southwark Council, you will also need to submit your home rent account or service charge account number, and your proof of PIP/Blue Badge if you are applying for the concessionary rate.

Check if you're eligible for the concessionary rate.

If you pay Council Tax to Southwark Council and are the named person on the Council Tax bill, you’ll need your Council Tax account number. 

If you already rent or have previously rented a Southwark Council garage, you will need to provide the garage rental account number/s.
