Please use this online application form for section 61 prior consent and short-term section 61 ‘Out of Hours’ (OOH) applications.

An application for section 61 prior consent should be submitted a minimum of 28 days before works commence on site.

An application for section 61 ‘Out of Hours’ works are required to be received a minimum of 7 days before works are planned to commence, to permit processing. Applications that are submitted late will be refused.

The council can prosecute businesses and/or contractors that conduct noisy works outside of agreed hours.
